Competition Format
Four team minimum, 16 team maximum per age division. Pool-play for seeding to multiple brackets, single elimination w/consolation round. Three games guaranteed. If eight teams register, four games guaranteed. There will be no consolation game in the playoff brackets.
Eligibility
12, 14, and 16: Open to Minnesota ASA-sanctioned teams and MMFL teams.
18: Open to Minnesota ASA-sanctioned teams.
In the event the age divisions do not fill, the tournament committee reserves the right to shorten the playing days of the tournament.
No entries will be accepted without payment. No refunds once entry has been submitted and a position has been reserved.
Rules
ASA playing rules apply. No innings will start after 75 minutes. Roster limit: 18 players, no pick-up players allowed.

Awards
Star of the North Games medals will be awarded to the top three finishing teams in each division.
Refund Policy
No refunds will be given if a registered athlete or team fails to participate. Competitions will be conducted unless the Star of the North Games Board of Directors or Sport Director(s) determine the weather conditions to be potentially dangerous or life threatening. No refunds will be given due to inclement weather, however every effort will be made to complete the tournament to its most feasible conclusion.
