Competition Format and fees:
Teams will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration will be limited by field capacity. Registration may close before the deadline. Register early to assure your place in the tournament.
All teams will be scheduled to play a minimum of four games, over one or two days. All teams run the chance of playing games back-to-back.
Male High School
Format: Team registration only, full-size rosters.
Four games, two days.
Age: Completed 9-12th grade in June of 2011. Roster may include players who graduated in June 2011.
Team Fee: $275 by May 16; $325 after.
Male 7th and 8th Grade
Format: Team or individual registration. Full-size rosters.
Four games, two days.
Team Fee: $175 by May 16; $225 after.
Individual Fee: $25 by May 16; $35 after.
Female College
Format: Team or individual registration. 7 v 7.
Minimum of four games, two days.
Age: 18 and older, must have graduated from high school.
Team Fee: $175 by May 16; $225 after.
Individual Fee: $25 by May 16; $35 after.
Female High School
Format: Team or individual registration. Full-size rosters.
Four games, two days.
Age: Completed 9-12th grade in June of 2011. Roster may include players who graduated in June 2011.

Individual Fee: $35 by May 16; $45 after.
Female 7th and 8th Grade
Format: Team or individual registration. Full-size rosters.
Four games, one day.

Eligibility:
This tournament is open to Minnesota-based teams, and to teams from border communities playing in Minnesota leagues and programs. Teams may roster out-of-state players if they can prove those players have been playing with the team all season.
Individual registration is open to Minnesota residents and also to out-of-state students who are living in Minnesota and members of the armed forces living in Minnesota.
Rules:
US Lacrosse, Minnesota State High School League and NFHS rules will govern play, with rule modifications at the discretion of the tournament staff.

Registration Instructions:
Except for high school boys, registration is open to teams and individuals. Individual registrants will be formed into a single team, or may be placed on existing teams in the tournament, at the discretion of the lacrosse commissioner.
Venue:
The Star of the North lacrosse tournament will be played at the Selke Fields, 1505 12th Ave SE, St. Cloud, MN 56301.
Additional fields will be scheduled as needed.
Awards:
Gold, silver, and bronze medals will be awarded to the top three teams in each division.
Refund Policy:
In the case of inclement weather, every effort will be made to complete the tournament in its entirety. Fees are non-refundable if the tournament is canceled, shortened, or otherwise modified in any way due to inclement weather.
