The State Games of America, a property of the National Congress of State Games, is a national multi-sport event, held biennially, for athletes of all ages and skill levels. Medal winners from 31 State Games nationwide earn the right to compete against other winners and match their skills and competitive desire in a national arena.
The 2013 State Games of America will be held in Hershey-Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, July 30 – August 4, 2013. You can qualify by participating in and winning a medal in the 2011 and 2012 Star of the North Games. You are also qualified if you won a medal in the 2011 State Games of America in San Diego
Tentative individual sports for 2013: Archery, Bowling, Fencing, Figure Skating, Handball, Gymnastics, Judo, Karate, Master Swimming, Powerlifting, Swimming, Synchronized Swimming, Taekwondo, Tennis, Track & Field, Weightlifting, Wrestling, Wrestling Duals.
Tentative Team Sports (All-star or tryout format): Baseball, Field Hockey, Ice Hockey
